

Travel Without a Valid Payment
Riding a bus without a valid contract is a criminal offense.
A passenger that has failed to pay for the journey or who does not present the ticket to the conductor, is liable to an increased penalty as specified in the Road Transport Ordinance.
Therefore, it is important to be aware:

Each passenger is required to pay for the journey through the Rav-Kav card, EMV (credit card) or payment app.

Once paid, the ticket must be swiped or the digital payment confirmation must be flashed at the card validator installed in the bus.

Presentation of a means of payment to a conductor or driver does not replace validation at the card validator.
A passenger failing to pay or to present a ticket on demand from an authorized representative will be charged a penalty fare according to the price of the journey:
